I was in Comedy Central Laugh Riots.  I lost. 

June 5, 2002  --  Hey guys, just wanted to let you know about the show last night at Zanies in Chicago.  I did okay, but lost (see title).  It was an honor to participate though, and a good learning experience.  Martha Kelly from Austin, Texas won the thing, and Ty Barnett of Seattle and Alex Ortiz were the two runner-ups.   No offense to anyone else, but my absolute favorite performance of the night was by Steve O. Harvey.  This guy has some funny stuff, and he performs it well.  I think he's very original, which says alot to me, and I think that's awesome.


Overall, it was pretty cool.  Got to meet and watch some cool comics, and got some really great compliments from audience members after the show.  However, next time I have a shot to be on TV, I'm not going to get up at 5:55AM, fly to the city, and walk around all day in the rain with my girlfriend before I perform.
